Matthew 9:36
'But when He saw the mutitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.'
This is such a reassuring statement to me for some reason, because I feel this all the time about other people, esp my non.xtian friends.
In Acts, Bnabas and Paul's evangelism encountered man's need to idolize the fascinating things around them V14 'But when the apostles B and P heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude crying out and saying, "Men why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God"-it just makes me think of how much we look up to humans that impress us in this world, and being dazzled by them instead of to our God.

There's just so much hope in the Psalms reading, that the next generation will come and 'declare His righteousness to a people who will be born'..that we work endlessly as his laborer for those who are coming after us.

Mat v29 'According to your faith will it be done to you' Again the need to believe when asking...

Acts v 17 'He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.' It's so sad how I can easily forget all the blessings God has given me in hard times.

psalm v 24 "For he has not despised or disdained
the suffering of the afflicted one;
he has not hidden his face from him
but has listened to his cry for help." God cares, but I also need to cry out to him.
