March 2
In Matthew 21:33-46, Jesus tells the parable of the tenants, where tenants of a vineyard kill the owner's servants sent to collect the rent and finally kill the owner's son. Jesus pronounces the fate of those who have rejected the Son, saying (v.43) "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." I ask myself if I'm the one from whom the kingdom will be taken or the ones who will produce its fruit. It's kinda scary, but God is graceful and the giver of hope.

March 1
There are several days worth of 'break' at the end of April, so I decided to start over at March 1 so that I"m more in line with the others :)
Matt 21:23-32, Romans 1:1-17, Psalm 48 , Numbers 1-2
In Romans, Paul reminds us of the power of salvation for all those who believe. The faces of some of my friends whom I care for very much but may not know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour floated before my mind's eye. My heart feels a burden for them, but I'm not sure what to do about it. I'll pray, sure, but should I take some sort of action too? God, give me wisdom.
Psalm 48 : 1 - Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
Matt 21:23-32, Romans 1:1-17, Psalm 48 , Numbers 1-2

March 9
Hey I'm enlightened by new posts! We will all start on different pages, which is great! Just make a new post everytime, instead of commenting this time around, so people can tell right away which dates you are on! And if any lucky person is actually on the same date as someone, then they can just comment. Okie?
In Numbers, the story about Balak and Balaam strikes me as really odd, when his donkey started to speak to Balaam, I would have realized that something is really odd, and supernatural. But do you think we do this all the time? Earthquakes occur and we take it as "nature", but what if is the sign of God's anger, or the result of so much evil? Have we become blind/passive to the disturbances of this world/our life?
AND as I just finished writing the above statement, I read this in Matthews:
Memory verse: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a]these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Hosanna To the Highest
This was one of the songs we sang daily in the Hillsong's Women conference I attended last weekend in London. It's simply powerful, just medidate on the lyrics. I miss and love you all, hope you feel blessed by this song!

Dear ALL,
I feel sad that this has sorta died down, which is understandable, we get run over by work , by mabuhay, by things we signed up to that just preoccupies us. I just hope that we all do take the time to seek His face daily not just through that wonderful group we are all involved in WESCF or our supporting friends around us but to PICK up our faith daily with HIM and wrestle the WHYS, HOWS, WHATS in our life that plague us but never seem to be answered. If we don't ASK of God something, how are we going to RECEIVE? OR let our faith grow?
I have to admit I got my latest inspiration from the Hillsong conference I attended, but it's so easy to forget that wonderful weekend right? It's time to get off the Mount and be real about our faith.
Some resources I suscribe to:
I receive RansomedHeartMinistries' email everyday to my inbox (Joann you asked me about that quote)
There is Godtv.com and Joyce Meyer's online tvcasts/website (reading her 'Battlefields of the Mind' is really encouraging me right now)
I recently heard Lisa Bevere as well, who spoke truth that pierces..two of my friends who I invited to hear her on Sunday left after she spoke her first sentences and I was worried that they were bitterly opposed to what she said about the correlation of earthquakes and Muslim oppression of women, and I was right; they were. But I am glad to say at this point now that nothing can shake my faith, it only pains me how to educate myself to make others understand it better.
Have a blessed day, ya'll!
