my dearests:)
You dont realize what you've 'got till it's gone' Janet Jackson sang that once.
Anyway since it is a New Year, I think it is time to carry out some of our resolutions :)
Eliza and Gloria have committed so far...I don't know who else will but here's a start and an introduction in case you don't know what I'm babbling on about.
During this last semester in Wesleyan, Joel Pratt printed out a daily reading plan for the Bible in one year while we were in STLab. I thought it would be an excellent idea to actually commit to it with friends who I will not be seeing while studying in Paris, or rather WesCFers in particular.
If you do decide to, it means you have to first download and print this out .
(P.S. It can be downloaded for free through either formats)
Since it is January, it is an excellent time to start reading and we shall start as soon as people reply and set up their accounts.
The idea is that after reading every day, we will say something about what we have read after reflection and prayer. I know this is an idealized version because I myself will not have access to internet everyday but the idea is that we will be consistent and keeping each other accountable. Furthermore it will be great to keep in touch (for me!) and track our spiritual growth on this blog. We shall eventually improvise and this reading plan is flexible enough.
So if you have decided you would like to join the three of us, please do comment asap, and I'll email you to set up your accounts.
Sincerely,
and with much affection and love from Paris,
Lyn-ni Lee
