"Cause us to hear Your lovingkindness for on You do we lean and in You do we trust. Cause us to know the way wherein we should walk, for we lift up our inner self to You." Psalm 143:8

In Matthew, I love verse 29 and 33. "Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." I think my life really testifies to verse 33.
In Acts, I was really encouraged by the drastic and immediate change in Saul and that he preached "at once" and "fearlessly" and he "grew more and more powerful." In verse 26, the disciples were in disbelief. I think I am like this many times, judging others, and doubting God's work in them.
The psalm is so encouraging. I love verse 11 "You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
Just curious, but does anyone actually read all the genealogies? =p
Matthew 6:33 is so encouraging because it's God's promise to us, that if we truly desire Him and His Kingdom above all else, He will provide all other things for us. We will also be free to serve Him fully, which I think is the even greater promise.
I especially liked Acts 9:35 "And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord." If all Christians lived as Peter did, so that whenever people look at us they feel compelled to turn to the Lord, that would be such a great witness unto the whole world. I wish I could live my life like that.. :D
oh... and gloria i kinda just skim through them :] heh heh..
