In Acts, I am amazed oncer more at Paul's constant encouragements by the Lord which gave him strength to keep on going despite all the trials. Also, my other thoughts are Why do men fight so much against what they do not know? Why do they fear the spreading of Jesus Christ so much? Is it the Devil working? Or their stubbornness? It is something I study and observe in today's times. I.e. the fear of evangelism in Malaysia.
In Matthew, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.." This has always been a powerful verse, what does denying myself mean? Currently its my procrastination techniques which has caused me to lose sleep and peace and friendliness. Other than that, its the inability to look beyond my own self and problems. Or maybe even plans for the future where I plan many holiday trips without focusing on what's important.
